From San Clemente, with Love
“Strength does not come from physical capacity.
It comes from an indomitable will.”
– Mahatma Gandhi
Welcome, June, how we Love you!
In this issue, we once again spotlight ‘Special Spaces’ with a heartfelt story of a young man named Trevor Salman who is
battling a serious illness using his indomitable will. The strength of the community was shown as a number of residents and fellow classmates from San Clemente came together, not only to donate their time and efforts to help transform his room into something special but also to greet him upon his arrival at home when it was unveiled to him and his wonderful family.
This town has some truly Special People who care; we should all feel grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such honorable company.
Speaking of honor, we also have a feature story on longtime resident and artist Rick J. Delanty. His contributions are well known and his art is spectacular. Please show your support by attending his annual home show June 3-4. Also worth reading is an article on four local board shapers who create art and pure stoke out of foam and fiberglass. We wish we could have included everyone, but here in San Clemente, that would have been overwhelming.
June 18th is Fathers Day. We Love You Dad!
